I am have been blogging for a couple of years now, and have written for newsletters and publications since I was a teenager on matters close to my heart. I often see acts of great kindness that touch me, and on the other side of the coin, times when others have not acted altruistically, and I try to work out what I can learn from them. This is what I would like to share.

About me

Becky lives in York, UK, with her husband and two children, aged 10 and 7. She worked as a music teacher for 15 years, and was privileged to work with some remarkable young people over that time. While she was teaching (and having babies), she trained to be a minister of the New Church, which is now her day job. She also does voluntary work in supporting mothers and babies. She enjoys reading, cycling and playing netball, and having a good-old chin-wag with her friends.

    1. That’s lovely! We had a very wet walk from Aberporth to Tresaith on Friday. I’m so glad you have found your soulmate, and hope that you enjoy the music therapy course. I am sure they will both bring joy to your life. I’m sorry to hear about his brother. I am glad we can cross borders – I think many religions have more in common than we first think x
